Our favorite location in Canton, just far enough away from the action to be quiet and have easy parking, but close enough to walk to restaurants, pubs, shops, and the waterfront. Intricate brick detailing on the facade and a stained glass transom above the front door give you a hint of the charm you will find inside. Open the door to original heart pine floors and century-old exposed brick and fall in love. The central kitchen has more cabinet space than a typical Canton kitchen, plus there's a pantry and coat/storage closet. The quaint dining area is at the front of the house and the huge living area is just behind the kitchen. The living area could easily serve multiple functions thanks to its generous size (home office? bar? Peloton?) and the open flow invites entertaining. There's an oh-so-charming half bath on this level, too. Upstairs, there are 2 bedrooms and 2 full, recently renovated bathrooms. The primary bedroom suite is at the rear and features a big walk-in closet and deck, and the secondary bedroom is at the front of the house with its own bathroom right next door. Outside, you'll find a big patio with a privacy fence -- a great place for a barbecue and lounge area.
